Dear NATSA members:

Greetings!

It is our first issue of NATSA Newsletter. The hard work of the publication committee--especially Weider Shu and Stephane Corcuff--makes this Newsletter possible. I also have to thank to our correspondents--Ken-fang Lee, Chen-wei Lin--who share their rich information from Britain and Japan with us. This is only the first step of our Newsletter. Your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Our goal is to generate an active on-line discussion and information exchange, not only among all NATSA members, but also all people who have academic interest in Taiwan Studies. This newsletter will also be posted on NASTA web page soon. Please forward the information to the people who may be concerned.
