The North American Taiwan Studies Association aims at attracting
scholars from all disciplines to contribute to the study of Taiwan
and the understanding of the changes in all aspects that are experienced
in current Taiwanese society. As a member, you will be informed
of the upcoming conferences
as well as all related information on Taiwan studies. Furthermore,
you will have the opportunities to present your work in the conference.
Previous participants have found the conference rewarding and
intellectually challenging because it serves as a forum
for the specialists of Taiwan studies in North America (as well
as other parts of the world) and their counterparts in Taiwan
to engage in meaningful dialogues. The significant work that the
participants produced over the past few years has contributed
substantially to our knowledge in Taiwan studies.
Membership enables one to vote for NATSA coordinators;
to qualify for participation in NATSA-organized activities, to
qualify for the travel grants and research supports administered
by the NATSA, and to be listed in the NATSA membership directory.
Members receive
NATSA conference registration discount during the term of their
membership.
